Dialogos

for solo voice

This solo piece for voice is an exploration of the dialogue between two different worlds. The piece is split in half with the first half made of graphical notation and sibilant noises that evolve into a beautiful melody based on the natural harmonics series. The second half contrasts this with loud noises and explosive words from the dadaist poem by Dylan Spencer Davidson. The poem explores with language sounds of industrialised, urban life. These two halves co-exist in dialogue with each other.
